The Big Boy X Model configuration pairs a durable steel receiver with black synthetic furniture. The stock includes a pistol-grip profile, molded texture panels, and a rubber buttpad for a solid shoulder weld. The forearm matches with molded texture panels, an integral Picatinny accessory rail on the bottom, and a side window exposing the magazine tube/follower.
The 17.4 inch round, blued steel barrel is threaded 5/8x24 TPI and capped with a knurled thread protector. A 1:16 RH twist supports common .357/.38 projectile weights. Green fiber-optic front and fully adjustable rear fiber-optic sights (two red pipes) provide a bright, visible sight picture.
Feeding is via a full-length 7-round tubular magazine with a side loading gate and a removable inner magazine tube. The large-loop lever offers ample clearance for cycling, and a transfer-bar safety adds an internal layer of protection.
The receiver is drilled and tapped for the BB-RSM pattern, and this rifle has a Picatinny rail already installed on the receiver. Overall length is 36.3 inches, with an approximate weight of 7.5 pounds and a 14.0 inch length of pull.
