This customized FN SCAR 17S pairs a Belgian-marked upper with a Handl Defense SCAR 25 aluminum lower that accepts SR-25/LR-308 pattern magazines. It features a 16 in barrel stamped 7.62x51 1:12, an adjustable gas regulator with standard/suppressed settings, and thoughtful upgrades including Radian ambidextrous safety selectors, a GG&G enhanced charging handle, an ERGO grip, a QD rear sling plate with reinforcement plates, and a Rugged three-prong flash hider. The rifle retains the SCAR's robust short-stroke gas piston system and full-length top rail with numbered slots.

The Belgian-marked FN SCAR 17S upper carries the import mark FNH USA Fredericksburg VA and is mated to a Handl Defense SCAR 25 aluminum lower. This lower provides SR-25/LR-308 magazine compatibility and comes with two 10-round and one 20-round Magpul PMAGs.
The 16 in barrel is stamped 7.62x51 1:12 and works with the SCAR's short-stroke gas piston system. An adjustable gas regulator offers standard and suppressed settings to tune function. The bore presents a clean, mirror finish with sharp rifling.
Controls and handling are enhanced with Radian ambidextrous safety selector levers, a GG&G enhanced extended charging handle, and an ERGO grip. A rear plate with a QD sling attachment and reinforcement plates for the rear plate screws add durability and sling versatility.
Mounting surfaces include a full-length, numbered top Picatinny rail and accessory rails at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions. Sights consist of a folding front sight integrated into the gas block and a folding rear aperture with a numbered elevation drum. The side-folding, telescoping stock includes length index markings for repeatable adjustments.
Muzzle treatment is a Rugged three-prong flash hider. Additional parts include a KNS Discarder component (bagged). The rifle retains the original lower receiver (not installed) alongside the installed Handl Defense SCAR 25 lower.
