The Premier II is built on a Baer National Match frame and slide, with a hand-fitted slide/frame/match barrel set for tight lockup and consistent performance. It uses a 5-inch Government-length, match-grade barrel paired with a stainless steel bushing, and includes an extended ejector and a lowered, flared ejection port for reliable function.
Accuracy is a core feature: the factory guarantee is 3-inch groups at 50 yards (with an optional 1.5-inch upgrade available from the factory). The single-action, semi-automatic system uses a Series 70-style design without a firing-pin block. The skeletonized 3-hole speed trigger is tuned to approximately 4.0 lb, working with a skeletonized Commander-style hammer for a clean break and quick reset.
Ergonomics and control are well thought out, with a single-side thumb safety, a beavertail grip safety, 30 LPI front strap checkering, and a flat, checkered mainspring housing. Checkered wood grip panels provide a secure, traditional feel.
Sights are set up for precision with an LBC low-mount Bomar-style fully adjustable rear sight and a dovetailed front blade.
