The Raging Hunter series earned American Hunter's 2019 Hunting Handgun of the Year, and this .44 Rem Magnum example reflects that lineage with a purpose-built configuration for field use. It features a full-size steel frame and cylinder in a matte black finish, paired with black rubber finger-groove grips for secure control.
The 8 3/8 inch two-piece barrel uses a shrouded design with a visible inner steel sleeve and factory porting to help manage recoil and muzzle rise. Sighting is straightforward and precise with a fixed ramped front sight and a fully adjustable rear sight.
A full-length MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail runs along the top, offering broad mounting flexibility. The revolver uses a double-action/single-action system with a transfer bar safety, and it holds six rounds in a six-flute steel cylinder.
Lockup is reinforced by a dual system that includes a secondary crane latch for added security under recoil. Notable markings include the Bainbridge, GA import mark and Taurus Armas - Made in Brazil. An assembly/inspection number "157" is present on the crane.
