The Gen I Vector SBR uses the KRISS Super V delayed-blowback system, a defining feature of the platform. This configuration pairs the .45 ACP chambering with the system's distinctive layout in a short-barreled, NFA-classified SBR format.
The 5.5-inch barrel is threaded, offering compatibility with standard .45 ACP muzzle devices. A full-length top Picatinny rail and accessory rails on the forend give ample space for sighting and accessories. Factory flip-up front and rear sights are installed.
The stock is a factory side-folding, skeletonized polymer unit with a rubber buttpad and a 12-inch length of pull. The frame and handguard are polymer, balancing durability with manageable weight.
