This Mark XIX is IMI-manufactured and marked with: "DESERT EAGLE PISTOL MAGNUM RESEARCH INC. MINNEAPOLIS, MN., ISRAEL MILITARY INDUSTRIES LTD. (IMI) MADE IN ISRAEL." The dual IMI/MRI rollmarks and country-of-origin marking make it a desirable Israel-made example with clear, correct identification.
Chambered in .44 Rem Magnum with an 8+1 capacity, this pistol is built on the Mark XIX platform. The Mark XIX design supports caliber conversions, offering broad factory configuration potential within the same platform.
The 6-inch barrel features a full-length rib and side flutes, with 6-groove polygonal rifling and a 1:18 twist. The rib is solid with no top accessory rail slots, preserving the classic Mark XIX profile.
Its operation is single-action with a gas-operated system and a rotating multi-lug bolt. Controls include an ambidextrous, slide-mounted manual safety. The pistol wears iron sights with a front blade and a rear notch, and it is finished in black over a steel frame with black textured polymer grips bearing IMI medallions.
