Its double-action/single-action system, exposed hammer, and smooth-faced trigger support precise control for deliberate or rapid fire.
The 4" stainless steel barrel includes a full underlug and an integral ejector-rod shroud. A serrated top rib reduces glare, while the pinned ramp front sight with orange/red insert and the micrometer-style black adjustable rear sight provide a clear, tunable sight picture.
Controls and handling details include a checkered cylinder latch and a checkered hammer spur for confident manipulation. The revolver incorporates S&W’s internal key lock safety. The factory S&W-branded black textured rubber grip with finger grooves offers a secure, hand-filling hold.
