What’s Included
- Ruger Vaquero .45 Colt revolver
Built on Ruger’s original large-frame Vaquero platform (pre-2005), this single-action-only revolver is a steel-frame .45 Colt with a six-shot fluted cylinder. It was manufactured in 1996 in the United States, and the barrel address includes "Southport, CT U.S.A."
The revolver features a 4.62 inch barrel, fixed sights with a blade front and a square-notch rear in the topstrap, and a crescent-profile ejector rod button for positive case extraction. The fixed-sight setup matches the Vaquero’s traditional single-action character.
Finish and materials include a simulated color–case frame with a blued barrel and cylinder, all in steel. The combination presents a classic look while maintaining the robust construction Ruger revolvers are known for.
Custom work includes engine-turned (jeweled) hammer sides and a trigger shoe, both noted features that distinguish this example. It also wears aftermarket natural antler/stag-style grips without Ruger medallions, adding a distinctive, individual look to the revolver.
