The GHM45 pairs a robust anodized aluminum upper with a polymer lower that carries the molded B&T logo. The receiver and bolt show matching caliber/serial markings, and a Swiss cross emblem sits at the junction of the upper and handguard, underscoring its Swiss manufacture.
Its 6.9 inch barrel is threaded and comes with a thread protector installed. The blowback action is complemented by a reversible side charging handle (right-side installed) and captive takedown push-pins for straightforward fieldstripping.
A full-length top Picatinny rail runs the aluminum upper, while the short aluminum forend adds Picatinny rails at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions. Flip-up front and rear iron sights are included for immediate use.
Controls are streamlined and modern, including an ambidextrous two-position safety with color-coded indicators and a polymer pistol grip with horizontal serrations. A rear receiver endcap with an integrated sling loop adds practical carry options.
