This 1925 Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammerless is a Type III example in .32 ACP with a bright plated finish and the 3.75-inch barrel. It features the late Type III, pre–magazine-disconnect configuration and lacks an external slide-stop lever. Correct period rollmarks, the Rampant Colt logo, and Colt proof and inspection stamps add clear, verifiable details for identification.
Single-action, straight blowback operation with an internal hammer, grip safety, and manual thumb safety define this configuration. The fixed blade front sight and rear notch, rear-only vertical slide serrations, and open right-side ejection port reflect the classic Type III layout. Capacity is 8+1 with the included magazine.
Factory-style markings include the left slide patent legend "COLT'S PT. F. A. MFG. CO.

Proofs and inspection stamps include the Colt "VP" verified proof in triangle on the trigger guard, a small inspector's stamp on the trigger guard bow, and a small "K" on the right front of the frame.
The pistol wears smooth white pearl-like grip panels without Colt medallions, and it comes with a detachable steel magazine with witness holes. Steel frame and slide show a bright plated (nickel/chrome appearance) finish consistent across the major components.
