Q The Fix Pistol Braced 8.6 Blackout, 8-inch Bolt-Action Pistol with Taper Muzzle and Side-Folding Brace
This Q The Fix pistol is a recent-production, bolt-action configuration chambered in 8.6 Blackout with an 8-inch barrel. It features a short 45-degree bolt throw, a two-stage trigger, and a side-folding, skeletonized brace with a hook-and-loop cuff. A 1913 Picatinny top rail is present on the receiver, while the free-float Q-Sert handguard has a smooth 12 o’clock ridge with slots and no integral 1913 section—so there is no continuous/bridged top rail. The taper-shoulder muzzle system includes a removable multi-port brake. It accepts SR-25/LR-308 pattern magazines and carries a stated capacity of 10+1.

The action is a right-hand bolt with right-side ejection and a swept handle, paired with a short 45-degree bolt throw for fast cycling. The two-stage trigger provides a defined take-up and crisp break. The receiver is marked THE FIX, with Q logos on the magwell and at the end of the brace.
The 8-inch barrel uses Q’s tapered-shoulder muzzle interface and is threaded, shipped with a removable multi-port brake. This setup supports secure muzzle-device alignment on the taper while preserving the compact overall length of the pistol configuration.
The aluminum receiver carries a 1913 Picatinny top rail, while the free-float, slotted Q-Sert handguard has a smooth 12 o’clock ridge with slots and no integral 1913 section; there is no continuous/bridged top rail. The handguard is secured with Torx fasteners and provides multiple Q-Sert mounting slots for accessories.
Ergonomics include a side-folding, skeletonized pistol brace with a hook-and-loop cuff and a Magpul MOE-K grip. The platform feeds from SR-25/LR-308 pattern magazines, and this example includes a 10-round PMAG for a stated capacity of 10+1. Made in the United States.
