The slide and frame carry the HUSQVARNA VAPENFABRIKS A.B. roll mark and crowned inspection/acceptance marks that speak to its postwar Swedish manufacture and agency service destination.
Mechanically, it follows the Lahti-derived design with a short-recoil, locked-breech action and a vertically moving locking piece. This is not a blowback system. The result is a robust, service-ready pattern well known among Nordic military and police sidearms of the era.
Construction is all steel with a blued frame/receiver and an in-the-white (bright) barrel assembly, and a 4.7 in barrel.
