This Gilboa DBR Snake is a rare, AR-15–based double-barrel semi-automatic rifle with two complete firing systems and dual magazine wells. It features factory 16 inch twin barrels, an elongated right-side ejection port, and an adjustable procedure for aligning both barrels to the same point of impact. This U.S.-marked lower variant is marked Model Snake / Caliber 5.56x45 / Nordic Components, Inc., Waconia, MN USA, with Gilboa branding on the magwell. Both triggers have been upgraded to Wide Open Trigger forced-reset units, and the rifle comes with an 80-round coupled magazine assembly.
Condition

The DBR Snake’s defining feature is its dual-barrel, dual-BCG architecture with two side-by-side STANAG magazine wells, delivering a unique semi-automatic platform derived from the AR-15. An elongated right-side ejection port accommodates the twin action, while an adjustable collimation and zeroing process lets the user align both barrels’ points of impact.
This rifle has been customized with Wide Open Trigger forced-reset units in both trigger positions. Please note: FRTs are not fully legal in all 50 states; verify legality in your jurisdiction before purchase. The original OEM AR-15 trigger/hammer groups are included in the case.
Furniture and controls include a free-float metal M-LOK handguard, a single rear T-style charging handle, an adjustable skeletonized polymer stock, and a MOE-marked pistol grip. Rails are present for adding optics or accessories; no separate scope mount or rings are included.
Chambered in 5.56mm NATO, the rifle uses a direct impingement, semi-automatic system with factory 16 inch twin barrels. Both barrels are threaded and fitted with A2 flash hiders. Capacity is 80+1 using the included coupled extended magazine assembly built from Magpul PMAG Gen M3 magazines. The receiver and components wear a matte black finish, and the lower is U.S.-marked: Model Snake / Caliber 5.56x45 / Nordic Components, Inc., Waconia, MN USA, with Gilboa on the magwell.
