Nighthawk Custom Talon II .45 ACP Compact 1911, 4.25-Inch Commander Barrel, Heinie Rear & Tritium Front Sights
This Nighthawk Custom Talon II is a hand-fitted, compact .45 ACP 1911 built under the One Gun, One Gunsmith philosophy. It uses a forged steel slide and frame and a 4.25-inch Commander-length, bushing-fitted barrel with a recessed crown. The slide is serrated along the top and features rear cocking serrations only, while the front strap and mainspring housing are finely checkered for a secure hold. Dovetailed Heinie rear and tritium front sights, a beavertail grip safety, and a lightened three-hole aluminum trigger round out this high-end build.

Overall Condition: Poor condition.
Bore Overall Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: The pistol is inoperable. The hammer follows when the slide drops. It will require gunsmithing or restorative work, and will likely need a new hammer, sear, and sear spring, with the possibility of additional parts. The exterior of the pistol shows few scratches or blemishes. The rear sight shows pitting.

The Talon II format delivers a compact 1911 with a 4.25-inch Commander-length barrel, tuned for precision with a bushing fit and a recessed/target crown. The barrel hood is marked "NHC .45 NM," and the slide carries "Nighthawk Custom" and "TALON II" markings.
Built on forged steel, the frame and slide are matched and hand-fitted. The top of the slide is serrated to cut glare, and the slide uses rear-only cocking serrations for a clean profile. There is no accessory rail.
Controls and ergonomics include a beavertail grip safety, a single-side manual thumb safety, and a skeletonized commander-style hammer. The trigger is a lightened three-hole aluminum unit. The front strap and mainspring housing are finely checkered, and the magazine well is lightly beveled to aid reloads.
The sighting system consists of a dovetailed Heinie rear sight paired with a dovetailed tritium-insert front sight. Capacity is 8+1 with standard single-stack .45 ACP magazines.
