    What's Included
    • Marlin Model 336C .30-30 lever-action rifle

Built in 1980, this rifle carries the North Haven, Connecticut rollmark and the classic 336 configuration that many buyers seek. The receiver is the solid-top, side-eject design and does not use a cross-bolt safety. The top is factory drilled and tapped with four holes; plug screws are not present, and the right-side loading gate feeds a full-length tubular magazine.

The 20-inch round blued barrel features Marlin's Micro-Groove rifling. Sights are period-correct iron sights with a ramped front (no hood) and an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear with an elevator. Dual barrel bands secure the fore-end and magazine tube in traditional carbine style.

Furniture is wood with a pistol-grip stock, smooth fore-end, and a black Marlin buttplate separated by a white-line spacer. The finish presents as gloss wood, and the length of pull measures 13.5. A small drilled hole is present on the underside of the buttstock aft of the grip.

Controls and details include a gold-colored trigger and a blued steel receiver. Capacity is six rounds in the tubular magazine, and ejection is to the side for straightforward operation. Overall, this is a well-equipped .30-30 carbine with strong barrel and receiver features from a key production year.
