The 245 serial prefix and PR year code indicate 1987 manufacture, aligning with the Mark II configuration and its forged steel frame.
It uses a single-action, recoil-operated system with a manual thumb safety and a magazine disconnect safety. The pistol features an external extractor, rear slide serrations, and a spur hammer, consistent with late-1980s FN production.
