The RD-15 LPR is configured as a lightweight precision rifle with a PROOF Research 16-inch free-floated steel barrel. The barrel is threaded and fitted with a multi-port closed-front flash hider/compensator, supporting controlled muzzle behavior and accessory compatibility.
Billet-style upper and lower receivers with an integral trigger guard provide a solid foundation. The rifle uses a direct-impingement system and includes a forward assist, shell deflector, and dust cover. Controls are ambidextrous, including the safety selector, bolt catch/release, and magazine release.
The free-float aluminum handguard features M-LOK slots and a full-length top Picatinny rail. The upper provides continuous rail space for mounting as needed, and the rifle is designated with has scope mount: true in its configuration data.
