The Weatherby Model 307 Alpine MDT Carbon in .300 PRC pairs a lightweight carbon-fiber chassis with a carbon-fiber wrapped 22" 416R stainless barrel for a modern, purpose-built hunting rifle. This recent release features Weatherby’s Model 307 action with Remington 700 footprint dimensions, a spiral-fluted bolt, and a one-piece Picatinny scope rail marked "PEAK," all finished in a matte grey/black Cerakote and made in the USA.

Built on the Model 307 action with Remington 700 footprint dimensions, this rifle uses a spiral-fluted bolt body and round bolt knob for smooth cycling. The receiver is roll-marked Sheridan, WY, USA, and carries a one-piece Picatinny scope rail marked "PEAK" for secure scope mounting.
The 22" barrel is cut from 416R stainless steel, wrapped in carbon fiber, and threaded to accept the included three-port muzzle brake. A 1:10 twist rate is matched to the .300 PRC chambering for stable bullet rotation. The bore presents with a mirror finish and sharp rifling.
Its MDT HNT26 chassis combines a magnesium-alloy core with carbon-fiber forend, grip, and buttstock. The forend features elongated M-LOK accessory slots for mounting; sling/bipod attachment is via M-LOK or optional adapters (no swivel stud installed). Length of pull measures 13.5" for a consistent shoulder fit.
Capacity is 5+1 and two 5-round MDT AICS-pattern metal magazines are included. The rifle wears a matte grey/black Cerakote finish, includes a manual safety, and retains clean, modern lines with the black/grey carbon-fiber stock and matching HNT26 carbon-fiber forend.
