This Browning Citori GTi is a Japan-made over/under from the Miroku factory, identifiable by its GTi black side panels with gold borders and Browning GTi gold logos. It features 28 in Special Steel barrels with a vent rib and the Browning Standard Invector choke system, currently fitted with extended Modified and Improved Modified tubes. An aftermarket two-post adjustable comb with a leather/synthetic wrap is installed, along with a 14.75 in length of pull and neutral grip and cast for straightforward fit.
Built on a steel receiver with a black finish, this GTi uses a single selective trigger with a top-tang safety and a barrel selector. The shotgun has 3 in chambers and bead sights on the ventilated rib for a clean, traditional sight picture. Forend iron and wood carry matching assembly numbers, and the shotgun was manufactured in Japan with MADE IN JAPAN markings and assembly proofs on the monobloc.
The walnut stock set includes checkering, a pistol grip, a beavertail forend, and an aftermarket Kick-EEZ recoil pad. The adjustable comb helps dial in point of impact and cheek weld, while the neutral grip and cast support a straight, consistent mount. Ejectors are timed, and the barrels are threaded for the Standard Invector system.
Condition
Overall Condition: Fair condition, showing extensive signs of prior use and handling.
Bore Overall Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Specific Condition Notes: The gun shows scuffs, dings, and general wear. The forend wood has a crack. The rib is dented. The barrel monobloc displays heavy finish loss with areas of deep pitting. The recoil pad is poorly fit.
Barrel fit is good. The locking lug is nearing replacement. The safety is locked. There is slight pitting on the bottom firing pin. The ejectors are timed.
