This Classic features a CNC-machined 17-4 PH stainless-steel frame with a uniform bead-blasted/matte finish, paired with a slide that has brushed flats and bead-blasted rounds for a clean, durable look. The 5-inch carbon-steel barrel is chrome-plated per factory specification, and the Browning-inspired, linkless locking system pairs with a full-length guide rod and a long/full-length dust cover.
Sight configuration includes a Trijicon tritium front sight marked "H3 15" and a fully adjustable rear sight. The slide adds practical touches with rear cocking serrations and an enlarged ejection port.
Controls and ergonomics follow a 1911-style, single-action layout with a thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety. It uses a skeletonized trigger and a skeletonized ring hammer, and it wears smooth walnut grip panels laser-engraved with the Coonan "C" logo.
Chambered in .357 Magnum, the pistol runs on proprietary single-stack steel magazines designed for the rimmed cartridge, providing a 7+1 capacity. The barrel hood is marked ".357 MAG," and the frame is marked "Coonan, Inc. Blaine, MN." This U.S.-made model hails from the 2010s and was discontinued after the company’s closure around 2019.
