The Tech-15 Micro is an AR-15 pattern pistol chambered in .223 Wylde with a 7.5-inch barrel and a direct-impingement operating system. Capacity is 30+1. This weapon is fitted with a binary trigger, and the lower is equipped with an ambidextrous three-position selector set up for binary fire. The trigger uses a curved shoe.
Controls and furniture are well-appointed: a Fostech-branded PDW-style adjustable brace with twin-rod design and hook-and-loop strap, an AGR-43 pistol grip, and a BCM Gunfighter charging handle. The upper receiver includes a forward assist, case deflector, and ejection-port cover.
The Fostech-branded skeletonized free-float M-LOK handguard is a slick-top design with a short Picatinny section mounted at the front for the flip-up sight; it does not have integrated QD sling sockets. Flip-up sights are installed, and a micro red-dot optic is mounted for fast aiming. A short vertical hand stop is also installed.
Muzzle duties are handled by an MI U.S.-made fluted can-style device. The pistol wears a black finish with factory engravings that include a subdued U.S. flag on the left magwell and the Fostech "F-in-reticle" logo on the right. This example is U.S.-made and noted as an early production unit with a very low serial number.
