PSA JAKL 5.56 NATO FDE, Long-Stroke Gas Piston, 14.5 in Pinned & Welded to 16.5 in, Monolithic M-LOK, Folding Adjustable Stock
This Palmetto State Armory JAKL is a recent-production, full-size 5.56 NATO rifle finished in FDE, built around a monolithic aluminum upper/handguard with a continuous 1913 Picatinny top rail and M-LOK slots. It uses a long-stroke gas piston system with an adjustable, detented gas block and a forward, reversible, non-reciprocating charging handle. The 14.5 in barrel is pinned and welded to a legal overall barrel length of 16.5 in and is capped with a three-prong flash hider. A side-folding, length-adjustable stock and an FDE Magpul MOE SL grip round out this configuration.
Condition
Overall Condition: Excellent condition, showing only faint signs of any prior use or handling.
Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: Minor surface scratches and small finish blemishes are present from light handling.

The JAKL’s long-stroke gas piston system is paired with an adjustable gas block featuring a detented plug, allowing quick, positive setting changes. The forward charging handle runs in the top track, is non-reciprocating, and can be configured for either side, supporting varied shooting preferences.
The barrel measures 14.5 in and is pinned and welded to achieve a 16.5 in overall barrel length for legal compliance. It is threaded 1/2x28 and fitted with a three-prong flash hider. This rifle includes a monolithic aluminum upper/handguard with M-LOK slots and a continuous 1913 Picatinny top rail.
Ergonomics are enhanced by a side-folding stock with adjustable length of pull (approximately 11–14 in) and a rubber buttpad. Controls include a right-side magazine release and a manual safety. The installed polymer M-LOK angled foregrip provides a ready-to-use support interface.
The rifle is finished in FDE across the receiver and furniture, with an FDE Magpul MOE SL grip. Receiver markings read "Palmetto State Armory West Columbia, S.C." and "JAKL 5.56 NATO." It is made in the USA and ships with one 30-round magazine.
