The CZ 600 Alpha action uses right-hand ejection with a 60-degree bolt throw and a hybrid controlled-feed system. A recessed push-button magazine release controls the detachable polymer box magazine, and a two-position tang safety with a vertical push-button provides straightforward operation.
The 20-inch steel barrel is cold hammer-forged, nitrided, and cut in a semi-heavy contour for consistency. It is factory threaded 5/8-24 UNEF and includes a thread protector. The 1:10 RH twist rate is suited to common .308 Winchester bullet weights, and the Alpha series carries a 1-MOA factory accuracy standard.
The aluminum receiver is anodized and marked CZ 600 AL2, with an integral Picatinny rail for mounting. The rifle presents a two-tone finish with a matte gray/silver barrel and black receiver and stock, and ships with no iron sights.
The stock is a black polymer design with a straight comb, textured grip and forend, and a rubber buttpad. Length of pull measures 13.75 inches, and the single-stage trigger is user-adjustable with four positions.
Markings include MADE IN CZECH REPUBLIC and CZ | CZ-USA, HARTFORD, CT, along with a triangular '24' proof/date-style marking. The included magazine body is multi-caliber marked for CZ 600 short-action cartridges (6mm Creedmoor, 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5 PRC, .308 Win, .243 Win).
