This Walther PDP Compact 4.0 in 9mm pairs the Performance Duty Trigger with a Tenifer-treated slide and carbon-steel barrel for durable carry-ready performance. It features SuperTerrain slide serrations, an optics-ready cut with factory cover plate and adapter plate included, and dovetailed sights with a tritium TG-H3 front. The Compact 4.0 variant delivers a 4.0-inch barrel and 15+1 capacity in a size that balances concealability and shootability. Its striker-fired action uses Walther’s Performance Duty Trigger for a consistent, clean break.
The barrel is carbon steel with polygonal rifling and a Tenifer treatment, paired with a Tenifer-finished slide for corrosion and wear resistance. The operating system is short-recoil, locked-breech.
Controls are modern and adaptable: ambidextrous slide-stop levers and a reversible push-button magazine release. The polymer frame carries Walther’s Performance Duty Texture and an interchangeable backstrap system (S/M/L) to tailor grip size.
Sight setup is dovetailed iron sights with a tritium TG-H3 front and a two-dot rear. The slide includes an optics-ready cut with a factory cover plate and uses Walther’s adapter-plate system; an adapter plate with screws is included.
An accessory rail on the dust cover is 1913-type with three slots for compatible lights or accessories. Markings include CIP N proof, DE country code, Made in Germany, Walther Arms Fort Smith, AR, and Carl Walther Ulm/Donau with a 2023 date.
