Its operating system is single-action, hammer-fired, locked-breech, and recoil-operated. Controls include a left-side, non-ambidextrous thumb safety and an internal firing-pin block. The external hammer provides a traditional profile consistent with the Micro series.
Sights are fixed steel and dovetailed front and rear, presenting a low-profile, plain black sight picture. The slide uses rear-only cocking serrations for a clean, snag-resistant front section.
