The rifle features a direct-impingement gas system on an A4 flat-top upper receiver with a full-length Picatinny rail, forward assist, shell deflector, and ejection-port cover. It accepts STANAG magazines and is finished in matte black over aluminum-alloy receivers. Country of origin is the United States.
The 16-inch M4-profile barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and capped with an A2 flash hider. The YHM-marked free-float quad-rail handguard provides four rails with a continuous top rail for alignment across the receiver and handguard. No iron sights are installed.
Optics are handled by a Weaver variable scope with exposed turrets and flip-up lens caps. The duplex-style reticle with dot subtensions offers a straightforward sight picture for a variety of shooting distances. Its gas-impingement operated upper makes clean up after the range easy.
Ergonomics include a 6-position collapsible polymer stock with an approximate length of pull from 11 to 14.6 inches, a SOG slip-on buttpad, and a rubber overmolded pistol grip with finger grooves. A vertical foregrip is installed on the quad-rail for added control.
Capacity is 30+1 with standard AR-15 STANAG-pattern magazines. This example ships with one 30-round and two 20-round magazines in a mix of Magpul PMAG polymer and USGI-pattern metal styles, offering ready-to-use flexibility for the range.
