The Glock 42 delivers a compact, lightweight .380 ACP package with a slim, single-stack frame measuring just 0.94 inch wide. Its 3.25-inch steel barrel and standard 6+1 capacity provide a practical balance of concealability and shootability in a micro format.
This pistol was manufactured in the USA at Glock, Inc. in Smyrna, Georgia, and carries clear U.S. markings: the slide is marked "42 USA .380 Auto"; the long "MADE IN USA GLOCK, INC., SMYRNA, GA, USA" text is molded into the frame on the right side above the trigger guard; the barrel hood is marked ".380 Auto" on top; and the chamber face visible through the ejection port bears the GLOCK logo, "US," and the pentagon-style U.S. proof. The slide, barrel, frame, and factory case label all have matching serials.
The sighting system uses fixed polymer sights with a white-dot front and a white-outline U-notch rear for fast alignment. Rear slide serrations aid manipulation, and the extractor functions as a loaded-chamber indicator.
Controls and safety features include a left-side square magazine catch and Glock's striker-fired system with a trigger safety tab, firing pin safety, and drop safety. The polymer frame has a rough texture grip and a durable matte finish.
This example comes with four factory 6-round magazines, two Kydex IWB holsters (one with a concealment wing), a Kydex single magazine carrier, and the Glock factory hard case. A grip tape wrap is installed on the frame for added purchase.
