The G44 pairs a simple blowback system with Glock’s Safe Action system to create a rimfire that handles like a centerfire Glock. Its compact size, 4.02 in barrel, and 10+1 capacity make it a natural trainer for shooters accustomed to the G19’s ergonomics.
The hybrid steel–polymer slide incorporates embedded steel components for durability and uses front and rear serrations for confident manipulation. Controls include an ambidextrous slide stop and a reversible magazine catch, allowing quick setup for right- or left-handed use.
Sighting is straightforward and precise: a white-dot front and a white-outline rear that is screw-adjustable for windage and elevation. The 6.22 in sight radius supports a steady sight picture, while the non-threaded barrel uses hexagonal rifling with a 1:15.98 right-hand twist.
The polymer frame deletes finger grooves for a clean, universal grip and carries a Glock accessory rail on the dust cover. This pistol is marked “MADE IN USA • GLOCK, INC., SMYRNA, GA,” and the case label notes adjustable sights and the 5.5 lb trigger. Two factory magazines with load-assist tabs are included for easy range sessions.
