The bufferless MCX operating system enables true side-folding without a receiver extension, allowing the stock to fold flat while maintaining readiness. The stock itself is side-folding, telescoping, and skeletonized, and it includes a rubber buttpad for a stable shoulder interface.
The 16-inch carbon steel barrel is cold hammer forged and threaded, supporting muzzle device installation as desired. A 2-position adjustable gas valve with clear window and +/- indicators lets the user tailor the short-stroke gas piston system for varying conditions.
The aluminum free-float M-LOK handguard and continuous 12 o'clock Picatinny top rail provide modern mounting real estate. The rifle ships with no sights installed, letting the buyer configure sighting solutions on the top rail as needed.
Controls are straightforward and duty-focused: a flat-face trigger, ambidextrous safety selector, and an ambidextrous magazine release. The receiver includes a forward assist and ejection-port cover, and the lower is marked "SIG MCX MULTI-CALIBER" for platform versatility.
Coyote finish across the aluminum receiver ties the package together, while the textured polymer pistol grip and a 12.5-inch length of pull support consistent handling. Capacity is 30+1 with the included PMAG.
