This SAINT Edge is built on 7075-T6 aluminum receivers with a Type III hard-coat anodized finish. The Edge-series billet lower incorporates the Accu-Tite tension system, designed to achieve a precise upper-to-lower fit. Factory markings include "SAINT EDGE" and "MULTI-CALIBER" on the lower and "SPRINGFIELD ARMORY GENESEO IL" on the handguard/receiver block.
The 16-inch barrel is threaded and fitted with a two-chamber rectangular-port muzzle brake. A free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard and full-length Picatinny top rail provide streamlined mounting for accessories and sighting solutions. The rifle uses a direct-impingement gas system on the AR-15 platform.
Ergonomics are supported by a 6-position adjustable stock with a QD socket and a polymer pistol grip. Length of pull is listed at 13.0. Polymer flip-up front and rear sights are installed, and an M-LOK vertical foregrip comes mounted.
Chambered in 5.56mm NATO with a 30+1 stated capacity, the rifle accepts STANAG-pattern magazines. It comes with three 30-round magazines and one 10-round magazine, plus a Springfield Armory SAINT-branded soft case and the factory operation and safety manual. Made in the USA.
