Automatic ejectors, the Browning/Miroku sliding takedown latch, and 2 3/4 inch and 3 inch chambers round out a well-known field-ready configuration.
The shotgun is set up with a neutral grip and neutral cast, and wears checkered walnut furniture with a round-knob pistol grip. It retains a green high-visibility front bead and the barrels are marked "SPECIAL STEEL." Chokes included are SK and M, offering immediate versatility with the threaded muzzle system. Capacity is 2.
Condition
Overall Condition: Fair condition, showing extensive signs of prior use and handling.
Bore Condition: Good - Clean, well-maintained, minor wear marks.
Specific Condition Notes: The walnut stock and forend show scuffs and dings throughout. The ventilated recoil pad needs to be replaced with one that is properly fit. The receiver shows some pitting and finish wear. The barrels are in relatively good shape; the green Hi-Viz front bead insert is broken. Barrel fit is good.
Locking lug life is nearing the need of replacement. The bottom firing pin is slightly pitted. The automatic ejectors are slightly mistimed.

The Grade I Lightning configuration combines classic Browning handling with practical features.
