- 1x 5rd detachable steel magazine for .22 WMR/.17 HMR (not compatible with .22 LR 455)
The Varmint submodel centers on a heavy-profile 20.5 in steel barrel that is cold hammer-forged and finished with a recessed crown. This configuration supports precise rimfire shooting while keeping the muzzle unthreaded, as originally produced.
The 455 action uses an adjustable trigger and a blued steel receiver with integral 11 mm dovetail grooves for mounting optics. There are no factory iron sights, keeping the top of the receiver clean for scope setup.
The lacquered walnut stock includes crisp pistol-grip checkering and a CZ-branded rubber buttpad. A 13.5 in length of pull provides a comfortable fit for most shooters.
Barrel changes within the 455 platform are supported by a twin set-screw system that secures the barrel to the receiver, enabling caliber or contour swaps. This rifle shows C.I.P. proof marks with an adjacent '13' year code (2013), carries the CZ-USA Kansas City, KS import mark, and was made in the Czech Republic. It retains matching serial numbers on the receiver and barrel and has an approximate 7.0 lb factory weight.
