This Marlin XT-22 Youth is a compact, American-made .22 LR bolt-action from 2014 with a 16" barrel and a 12" length of pull. It features Marlin's Micro-Groove rifling and the Pro-Fire adjustable trigger with a center safety blade. The receiver is grooved for rimfire tip-off rings and carries a red cocking indicator. It comes outfitted with a Crickett 4x32 scope mounted in rimfire 3/8" tip-off rings clamped to the receiver’s integral dovetail grooves, and a leather sling, ready for the range or field.

The XT-22 Youth configuration pairs a 16" blued carbon steel barrel with a 12" length of pull, keeping the rifle light, handy, and well-suited to smaller-statured shooters. The synthetic black stock uses youth dimensions and a straight comb, with a textured grip and fore-end, a pistol-grip profile, and sling swivel studs capped by a hard buttplate.
Marlin's Micro-Groove rifling in the carbon steel barrel promotes consistent engagement with .22 LR bullets. Sighting options include a ramped front sight. The scope is mounted in rimfire 3/8" tip-off rings clamped directly to the receiver’s integral dovetail grooves.
The bolt-action system is complemented by the Pro-Fire adjustable trigger with a center safety blade, and a two-position manual safety. A red cocking indicator at the rear of the bolt provides an at-a-glance status. This example is set up as a single-shot with a listed capacity of 1 round.
