The Performance Center 627-5 pairs an 8-shot fluted cylinder (not cut for moon clips) with a 5-inch slab-sided barrel featuring a full-length underlug, longitudinal rib, and recessed crown. The stainless N-frame has a glass-bead stainless finish and a round-butt profile, wearing smooth hardwood finger-groove stocks.
A pinned ramp front sight with a gold bead remains in place. The factory adjustable rear sight has been replaced by the screw-mounted top-strap plate that carries the installed Trijicon SRO red dot, providing a clear, modern sighting system.
The action is double action/single action and Performance Center tuned. Controls include a smooth wide chrome trigger with a trigger stop and a chrome-flashed teardrop-style hammer spur. Barrel rollmarks read "PERFORMANCE CENTER" and ".357 MAG - 8 TIMES," and the yoke cut is stamped with the engineering change "627-5."
