The Scout V2 is a break-open, extractor-only single-shot rifle chambered in .44 Rem Magnum. The breech lever is located at the rear of the trigger guard for easy operation, and the external hammer includes a side spur for positive control.
Its 22-inch stainless-finish barrel is fluted and cut with a recessed crown. This configuration supports consistent barrel harmonics and helps protect the muzzle. The bore is bright with sharp rifling, aligning with the excellent bore condition reported.
The rifle has no iron sights and uses a one-piece barrel-mounted rail. Installed rings and a KonusPro 3-9x40 scope provide a clear, practical sighting system out of the box. A Caldwell bipod is attached to the front sling stud for added stability when shooting from supported positions.
