Built on the AR-12 platform, the BOSS-25 uses a semi-automatic, gas-operated system paired with detachable box magazines for straightforward operation and quick reloads. The right-side charging handle provides easy access while maintaining a firing grip.
The 18.5 in barrel is internally threaded for chokes and enclosed by a vented shroud. The included choke set expands pattern options, and the supplied muzzle brake adds another configuration choice.
A Picatinny rail runs along the receiver, and the handguard features short rail segments for accessories (the top of the handguard is mostly smooth), with additional lower rail segments on the slotted, vented handguard. Flip-up front and rear sights are installed.
Ergonomics include a black synthetic pistol grip and an adjustable, telescoping stock with an adjustable cheek riser. Length of pull is 14.0 in. The shotgun is finished in matte black and is chambered for 3 in 12-gauge shells. Capacity is 5+1 with the included 5-round magazines.
