The 1911-22 Compact maintains the familiar 1911 single-action-only control layout at approximately 85% of Government-size, chambered in .22 LR. It uses a straight blowback action with a solid 1911-style trigger for a consistent SAO feel.
Construction is lightweight and durable, with an aluminum-alloy frame and a machined aluminum slide, both finished in a matte black (anodized) coating. Slide serrations are at the rear only, and there is no accessory rail.
Controls include a single-side (left) manual thumb safety and a grip safety, paired with a commander/rowel-style hammer. Capacity is 10+1 rounds from factory Browning 10-round magazines.
Sights are a fixed front blade and a dovetailed rear notch, providing a simple, durable sight picture well-suited to the pistol’s compact configuration.
