This Weatherby Mark V Stainless Synthetic in .270 Weatherby Magnum pairs the classic nine-lug Mark V magnum action with a 26-inch unfluted stainless sporter barrel and a durable synthetic Monte Carlo stock. Built in Japan during the early 1990s Howa era (H-prefix serial), it features factory decorative line engraving on the receiver bridge and comes fitted with Burris two-piece bases and 1-inch rings.

The rifle uses the Mark V magnum action with nine locking lugs and a short bolt lift of approximately 54 degrees. The internal box magazine holds three rounds and is paired with a hinged floorplate for quick unloading. A two-position safety is mounted at the rear of the bolt shroud.
The 26-inch stainless sporter barrel is unfluted with a plain crown, and there are no iron sights. Both the barrel and receiver wear a matte stainless finish. The receiver is drilled and tapped, with Burris two-piece bases and 1-inch rings already installed.
The black synthetic Monte Carlo stock has a right-hand cheekpiece, molded checkering, and sling swivel studs. A Weatherby "W" grip-cap medallion adds a correct factory touch consistent with the model and era. Length of pull is 13.25 inches.
Originating from Japan and produced circa 1992–1994, this example reflects late Japanese-era Howa manufacture, identifiable by its H-prefix serial. Rollmarks include "MARK V" and "U.S. PATENT NO. 3,013,355." The receiver bridge shows factory decorative line engraving.
