The receiver is alloy with a polished Brasslite cover, complemented by a matching brass buttplate and brass-tone barrel band. The straight-grip walnut stock provides a 14.0-inch length of pull, and the rifle measures 38.5 inches overall and weighs 6.75 pounds.
Operation is classic lever-action with a standard lever loop and an external hammer that includes a quarter-cock safety notch. Feeding is via a tubular, front-loading magazine with a removable inner magazine tube; there is no side loading gate. Capacity is 16+1 rounds.
