What's Included
- Colt New Frontier .22 Buntline revolver (.22 LR, 7.5 inch barrel)
This New Frontier .22 Buntline configuration features a 7.5 inch barrel with the rollmark "NEW FRONTIER BUNTLINE .22" and the barrel address "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD CT.
U.S.A." The rimfire New Frontier/Peacemaker .22 series used the G-prefix serial style, matching this model’s series identification.
The revolver uses a flat-top frame with a fully adjustable square-notch rear sight paired to a ramped front sight. An anti-glare serrated panel ahead of the front sight helps reduce glare near the muzzle.
Finish is traditional Colt: the barrel, cylinder, and ejector housing are blued, while the frame wears a color case-hardened treatment. The six-shot cylinder is fluted and chambered in .22 Long Rifle.
Mechanically, it is single-action only and equipped with a crescent-type spurred, checkered hammer. Black checkered composition grips carry Rampant Colt medallions with American-eagle relief panels for a classic Colt rimfire look and feel.
Manufactured in the United States in 1984, this revolver represents the adjustable-sight New Frontier approach applied to the .22 rimfire Buntline format.
