What’s Included
- Ruger SP101 double-action revolver instruction manual
The SP101’s 2.25" stainless barrel uses a full underlug and heavy profile with an integral ejector shroud. This setup adds forward weight and protects the ejector rod while maintaining a compact footprint. The five-shot fluted cylinder is triple-locking for secure lockup.
Sighting is simple and durable with a serrated ramp front and a fixed trench-style rear groove in the topstrap. The action is double-action/single-action, and the revolver uses Ruger’s transfer-bar ignition system for added drop safety.
The brushed stainless finish is matched across the frame, cylinder, and barrel for a consistent look and corrosion resistance. A smooth-faced trigger and exposed, spurred hammer provide straightforward control in both DA and SA modes.
This example is fitted with a Hogue Monogrip rubber grip with finger grooves. The grip enhances purchase and control while preserving the revolver’s compact size. Stainless-steel frame, barrel, and cylinder; small parts such as the extractor star are blackened steel. Made in the United States.
