The Smith & Wesson M&P15 Sport II is a proven AR-15 pattern carbine with a forged 7075-T6 aluminum receiver set and a 16-inch 4140 chrome-moly steel barrel. This example features a flat-top upper with T-marked Picatinny rail, an F-marked A2 front sight base with bayonet lug, and a carbine-length gas system. It comes equipped with a Magpul MBUS polymer flip-up rear sight and includes two 30-round Magpul PMAG magazines, all made in the United States.
The threaded 1:9 twist barrel is finished with an A2 birdcage flash suppressor, and the rifle retains classic carbine furniture: a two-piece polymer handguard, 6-position collapsible M4-style stock with S&W medallion, and an A2 pistol grip. Forward assist and an ejection-port dust cover are present, and the upper’s T4–T12 rail markings provide clear reference points for sight placement.

The 16-inch barrel is made from 4140 chrome-moly steel with a 1:9 twist to stabilize a wide range of 5.56 NATO projectiles. It is threaded at the muzzle and fitted with an A2 birdcage flash suppressor. The carbine-length gas system and F-marked A2 front sight base incorporate a bayonet lug and front sling swivel, with an adjustable front sight post.
The flat-top upper receiver features a T-marked Picatinny rail with T4–T12 references, allowing precise positioning of sights. Forward assist and an ejection-port dust cover are included. A Magpul MBUS polymer flip-up rear sight is installed, pairing with the fixed A2 front sight for a ready-to-use aperture sight picture.
Furniture includes a carbine-length, two-piece polymer handguard secured by a delta ring and round handguard cap. The 6-position collapsible M4-style stock bears the S&W medallion and teams with an A2 pistol grip. Controls include a manual safety.
The forged 7075-T6 aluminum receivers carry the correct factory markings: "MODEL M&P-15" and "M&P 15" on the lower, with "SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD, MA MADE IN U.S.A." manufacturer rollmark. Chambered in 5.56mm NATO with a 30+1 capacity, this Sport II arrives with two 30-round Magpul PMAGs.
