Created as a limited Texas-themed series, this model is marked Limited Edition 1 of 5000 and was built in a dedicated SG-prefix serial block for The Sportsman's Guide. The included COA is dated October 1992; note it bears serial SG2480 and does not match this revolver’s SG2780.
The revolver is factory engraved with floral scrollwork on the barrel flats, frame, and loading lever. It wears a silver-tone plated finish, complemented by a gold-tone engraved cylinder and gold-tone hammer and trigger guard. Two-piece white synthetic grips complete the presentation.
Chambered in .44 cap and ball, it retains the classic six-shot, single-action percussion layout with an 8-inch octagonal barrel and under-barrel loading lever. Fixed sights consist of a front post and a topstrap groove rear, true to the pattern.
Manufactured in Italy by F.lli Pietta, this is a faithful reproduction of the Remington 1858 New Model Army. Markings include F.LLI PIETTA – MADE IN ITALY, along with the Limited Edition inscription.
