This Colt Defense AR-15A4 Lightweight LE Carbine is a 2014-made 5.56 NATO rifle built on a forged, hard-coat anodized black receiver set with a flat-top A4 upper. It features the lightweight/pencil 16-inch chrome-lined barrel with a 1:7 twist, carbine-length gas system, and a pinned A2 front sight base with bayonet lug. Collectors will note the lower rollmark reading "AR-15A4 LIGHTWEIGHT LE CARBINE," a recognized Colt 6720 variant from an uncommon early-2010s rollmark period. It comes outfitted with Magpul MOE furniture and includes two 20-round PMAGs, a web sling, a Maglula StripLULA loader.

The rifle’s defining feature is its lightweight/pencil 16-inch barrel with a chrome-lined bore and 1:7 twist, paired with a carbine-length gas system. The muzzle wears an A2 flash hider, and the barrel is threaded. The pinned A2 front sight base includes a bayonet lug.
The flat-top A4 upper has a T-marked Picatinny rail, providing a straightforward mounting surface. The rifle is configured with an A2 front sight; no rear sight is included.
The lower rollmark reads "AR-15A4 LIGHTWEIGHT LE CARBINE," a recognized Colt 6720 variant. This uncommon early-2010s rollmark is noted by Colt enthusiasts and adds model-specific clarity for buyers and collectors.
Furniture is set up with Magpul MOE components: a collapsible carbine stock, MOE pistol grip, two-piece polymer carbine handguard, and a vertical foregrip, all in black. The package is rounded out with two 20-round PMAGs, a web two-point sling, a StripLULA loader.
