The Montana series pairs a stainless steel receiver and 24-inch sporter-contour stainless barrel with a matte/bead-blast finish for corrosion resistance and low glare. The action is pillar and glass bedded into a gray Kevlar/carbon-fiber composite stock with a straight comb, recoil pad, and sling swivel studs.
Feeding is controlled-round via a full-length claw extractor, and the right-hand bolt uses a three-position wing safety on the shroud for secure operation. An internal magazine provides a 3-round capacity in .300 WSM.
The barrel features a 1:10 right-hand twist suited to common .300 WSM bullet weights, and the rifle is configured without iron sights. 30mm integral ringmounts that attach directly to the receiver are installed for mounting a scope of your choice.
