The Express Carbine configuration pairs the Long Ranger’s geared lever and rotating multi-lug bolt with a detachable box magazine system, right-side ejection, and a 5+1 capacity. Overall length is 37 inches, and the unloaded weight is 7.0 pounds, giving this carbine a balanced, quick-handling feel while maintaining durability with its steel barrel and aluminum receiver.
The 16.5 inch steel barrel is threaded 1/2x28 TPI and fitted with a thread protector. A 1:9 inch right-hand twist supports common 5.56mm projectile weights. The carbine ships without iron sights and includes a factory-installed receiver-top Picatinny rail along with matte scope rings to mount an optic of your choice.
The gray birch laminate straight-grip stock and matching forearm provide a stable, weather-resistant platform. A rubber recoil pad and sling swivel studs add practical field features. The receiver wears a hard-anodized black finish that contrasts with the satin silver steel barrel and matching silver thread protector, giving the carbine a purposeful two-tone appearance.
Controls and safety features include the transfer bar system and an installed hammer spur extension for positive hammer control. The carbine has a 14.0 inch length of pull. Announced on January 17, 2022, this submodel carries the factory part number H014RP-223 and is built in the USA.
This example is further set apart by its installed lever-loop lace wrap and the inclusion of four 5-round steel-body magazines with polymer followers, aligning with the Long Ranger’s magazine-fed design.
