Upgraded by Vulcan Machine Werks, this compact HD-series 2011 stands out with a VMW laser logo engraved on the barrel hood and VMW medallions inlaid in the aggressively textured polymer grip module. The steel frame and slide wear a uniform matte tan finish that ties the build together.
A stainless 4-inch bull barrel and a flat-wire recoil spring on a single guide rod anchor its operating system. The slide uses an external extractor and Staccato's HOST direct-to-slide plate system, paired with tall backup iron sights. No optic is installed or included.
Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the manual thumb safety and slide stop, and the magazine catch is reversible. The pistol runs a single-action-only fire control with a skeletonized trigger and includes a 1911-style beavertail grip safety. The dustcover includes a three-slot accessory rail.
Chambered in 9mm Luger, the HD P4 compact carries 18+1 rounds and uses Staccato 2011-pattern double-stack steel magazines. Three 18-round steel magazines are included, each with numbered witness holes. The serial marking on the dustcover matches the supplied serial.
