The Tanfoglio Gold Custom Eric 2017 is a factory IPSC Open-division pistol co-developed with Eric Grauffel and built in Italy. This example comes with a frame-mounted C-MORE Systems red dot already installed and retains the chrome/silver finish typical of the Eric line. Its shortened, lightened slide, hybrid ported barrel, and multi-chamber compensator work together to control muzzle rise. Intermittent U.S. importation has made these pistols less common stateside.

Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Overall Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: Cosmetic wear is minimal, with minor superficial scratches and small blemishes from handling. Iron sights are not included.

Co-developed with multi-time world champion Eric Grauffel, the Gold Custom Eric 2017 is a purpose-built IPSC Open racegun. It is a CZ-75–pattern Browning short-recoil derivative, engineered for speed, controllability, and fast sight recovery in competition.
The recoil-management package pairs a shortened, lightened, and vented slide with a 5.25 in hybrid ported barrel and a multi-chamber compensator. This setup reduces slide mass and vents gas to manage muzzle movement. The slide is marked "GOLD CUSTOM ERIC 2017," and the barrel is marked "CAL. 9x19."
The pistol features a single-action-only system with a skeletonized trigger and an over-travel adjustment screw. Controls include ambidextrous manual safeties, an extended slide stop, and an extended magazine release. The steel frame uses a full-length dust cover, aggressive frontstrap and backstrap checkering, and an enlarged flared magwell for rapid reloads. A ring-spur hammer and checkered grip panels with Tanfoglio logos round out the setup.
A C-MORE Systems red dot is installed on the factory frame-bridged mount with a blast shield in front of the optic, providing a stable, frame-mounted sighting system. The pistol wears a chrome/silver factory finish and carries CIP Italian proof marks. Capacity is 17+1 with the included double-stack magazines, and U.S. availability has been limited due to intermittent importation.
