The Sporting configuration brings a 30-inch set of steel barrels with porting, a ventilated top rib, and a clear sight picture through an ivory mid-bead and green fiber-optic front bead. Chambers are cut for both 2 3/4 in and 3 in shells, with back-bored barrels and lengthened forcing cones to optimize patterns and smooth the shot column.
The gun uses the Browning Invector-DS extended choke system. Included chokes cover a wide range of sporting applications: F, IM, M, IC, and SK. The extended design aids quick identification and easy changes between stations.
The receiver is steel with a matte silver finish and is marked "BROWNING 725 SPORTING." Gold Browning Buckmark logos are present on the receiver shoulder and trigger guard, adding clear model identification. Barrels are finished in a deep blue for a classic sporting look.
Trigger control is handled by Browning's single, mechanical Fire Lite system, paired with the Triple Trigger System and interchangeable trigger shoes. This setup allows the shooter to tailor the trigger feel and reach to personal preference.
The walnut stock wears a gloss oil finish with cut checkering for confident handling. A right-hand palm swell and very slight right-hand cast-off promote a consistent mount, while the rubber recoil pad and a 15.0 in length of pull round out the fit. Manufacturing and rollmarks reflect Miroku's Japanese production with "BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH, MADE IN JAPAN / MIROKU."
