Introduced to commemorate a century of Winchester lever-action history, the Centennial '66 is a collectible variant of the Model 94. This series is identifiable by its gold-tone plated receiver, forend cap, and crescent buttplate, along with a tang inset plaque marked "WINCHESTER CENTENNIAL '66."
The rifle is chambered in .30-30 and built around a 26" octagonal blued steel barrel feeding from a full-length tubular magazine for an 8+1 capacity. It retains the Model 94 top-eject action and includes a saddle ring on the receiver.
Sights consist of a dovetailed blade front and an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear with elevator. The barrel carries the commemorative inscription "A Century of Leadership 1866–1966," is marked "WINCHESTER MADE IN U.S.A." with the caliber, and shows Winchester proof marks.
